Delivery periods
Unless otherwise specified in the quote, domestic delivery of goods shall be made (Germany) within 7 - 14 days, for deliveries abroad within 7 - 21 days from the date of signing the contract (if advance payment is agreed upon from the date of the payment instruction). Please note that deliveries are not made on Sundays and other holidays. If you have ordered articles with different delivery dates, we send the articles together in one delivery if no other agreement has been made. The delivery date for the complete order will be the same as that of the article with the longest delivery time.
The minimum order value is 1000 €.
Information on the obligation to take back packaging material
According to current packaging legislation, we shall be obligated to take back the following packaging materials from end consumers free of charge and under Section 15 (1) Sentence 1 German Packaging Act (VerpackG):
- Transport packaging, such as pallets, large packaging, etc.,
- Sales packaging and secondary packaging which, after use, does not typically accumulate as waste at private final consumers, Sales packaging and secondary packaging for which system integration is not possible due to system incompatibility under Section 7 (5), and
- Sales packaging containing pollutants or
- Reusable packaging.
Appropriate packaging material is used for the delivery of the product and we will take this back free of charge. We thus ensure that the packaging material is reintroduced into the recycling stream. By informing you about the return options, we aim to achieve better results in the return of packaging and thus ensure a contribution to the fulfillment of the European recycling targets according to EU Directive 94/62/EC.
As the end consumer, you may return the packaging material at the place where it is handed over, or in its immediate vicinity.
Information for battery disposal
In connection with the sale of batteries or with the delivery of devices that contain batteries, we are under obligation to bring the following to your attention:
As the end user, you are legally under obligation to return used batteries. You can return old batteries, which offer or have been offered in our new battery assortment, free of charge to our dispatch warehouse (dispatch address). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meanings:
The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that the battery may not be discarded with household waste. Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent by mass of Lead
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent by mass of Cadmium
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by mass of Mercury.
Special features when selling starter batteries
In connection with the sale of vehicle batteries, if you are the end user, we are under obligation according to § 10 BattG to charge a deposit amounting to EUR7.50 including sales tax for every vehicle battery if you do not return the old vehicle battery at the time of purchase of a new one. The deposit is not included in the purchase price and is indicated on the item near the final price.
If you return an old vehicle battery to us, which we are offering or have offered as a new battery in the assortment as per § 9 BattG, we are legally under obligation to take these back free of cost and to reimburse the deposit amount.
As far as we have given a deposit sticker as per § 10 section 1 clause 3 BattG, the reimbursement of the deposit upon returning the old vehicle battery depends on the return of the deposit sticker.
The place for returning the sticker is the address specified in the Legal Notice.
Returning the old battery via post is not allowed on account of the Gefahrgutverordnung (Dangerous Goods Ordinance).
Alternatively, old vehicle batteries can also be returned free of charge to material and recycling centers. The deposit charged by us is not reimbursed by the public–legal material and recycling centers. However, there, you have the option to get the return of the old vehicle battery acknowledged on the deposit sticker. You will receive the battery deposit back from us upon presenting the acknowledged deposit sticker.
